As part of the design and marketing team at Vibes Media, we worked with the NFL to create a Passbook campaign for their upcoming Super Bowl 47 and provide a series of passes to promote sales at the NFL store to the attendees. Apple Passbook was released during the summer of 2012 which Vibes Media saw an opportunity to provide an interactive marketing campaign throughout the game. We spent time working through the Passbook tech requirements and found an advantage to inserting text within the image used on the pass to subvert some of the initial limitations of text length. We designed three passes that we emailed to all attendees of Super Bowl 47. One at the beginning of the game, one at halftime when the audience was most available, and one final pass to audience members whose team (verified by team preference) had won Super Bowl 47.
