As part of a contract with See3 Communications, our client RAVSAK wanted a complete overhaul of their intranet and to focus on distinct experiences for both logged in users and guests. For this project, we used Balsamiq to craft rough wireframes to divorce this process from visual design and focus on client expectations during the review stages. The main objective for the redesign was to simplify and reign in the redundancies of pages and elements that existed on the previous intranet. The top navigation menu was positioned for members who needed specific resources and expected a brief interaction with the intranet on the whole. Once we segmented the top navigation and created a simplified three-section sub-navigation for My RAVSAK, My Reshet, and a wholistic Member Search, all navigation was filtered through them.
