As part of the SharePoint Solutions team with Protiviti, our work focused on using the Microsoft Sharepoint software to create more comprehensive and modern designs. For Lineage Logistics, we identified core areas of interaction that intranet users utilized most and features they felt were missing from the previous intranet infrastructure. The main concern was the ability to quickly access parts of the intranet with as little navigation as possible. To accomplish this, we created a more comprehensive landing page that displayed popular information in a card format with an at-a-glance discovery. We also added a larger three choice option at the top of the landing page that breaks down the rest of the site into three sections instead of the breadcrumb method previously used.
